New York City

I spent some days in one of the most interesting places in the world. The Big Apple, the city that never sleeps, the center of the universe, Gotham City, Metropolis, the capital of the world, or whatever you want to call it: New York City!

I had the good fortune to enjoy the city with the snow, the sun, and the clouds.
I met nice people, artists of all kinds, road musicians, and a number of amazing places. For example, The Little Lebowsky Shop, dedicated to the cult movie of Coen brothers. Or B&H, a photo & video store that is a photographer’s paradise.

I really loved newyorkers, food, vehicles (taxis!), nightlife, coffee, subway, the frenzy, the quiet, from Brooklyn to Manhattan, to Harlem (where I could listen a beautiful gospel mass).

These images show the city as I saw it. I hope you enjoy.

A must listen song, especially if you are european like me: A heart in New York, by Gallagher and Lyle. Sung by Art Garfunkel. I love this song.

Roland Polczer - Very nice series Paolo, it really gives back the mood of the place. Looks like you bought the 45ts, cool 🙂 Cheers, Roland

paolo mezzera - Exactly, Roland: the 45ts. It’s amazing. And it’s also your fault! 😉 Thanks

Guido Romano - Vedo che il vostro viaggio a MANHATTAN e’ stato un successo e lo dimostrano le tue foto Paolo. Complimenti. Ci sono piaciute molto.
